Kayaking Expedition
Embark on an amazing 4-day kayaking trip along the Kouga River in the Eastern Cape, covering 140 km of breathtaking landscapes. Paddle through majestic areas where towering cliffs rise 300 meters vertically, squeezing the river into a narrow gorge. Camp along the riverbank, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The journey offers incredible bird and wildlife sightings, providing a unique perspective from the water. Traverse fun yet manageable rapids, with occasional tumbles adding to the adventure. Experience places few have ever seen. Note, this trip depends on the right amount of rain, so interested kayakers must join a mailing list and be ready to go on a week’s notice.

What is going with us
-Kayaks, plastic sit on top with dry hatches for storage.
-Paddles, one per person plus spare in the group,
-Life jacket and protective headgear.
-Tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags.
-Dry bags, a dry set of clothes for the evenings
-Kettle, pot, braaigrid,
-Water, food, snacks.
-Hat, another hat, sunblock
-Water shoes or an old pair of tekkies.
-Fire in the form of flint.
Mountain Biking Tour
Start your adventure at Kouga Wildernis, where you can safely park your vehicle. As you begin, immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Langkloof, with the support vehicle carrying your goods. Pedal through rugged terrain, rolling hills, and hidden valleys, reaching your first campsite for a hearty meal and restful night.
DAY 3
The Final Push Back to Kouga Wildernis
On the final day, savor a nourishing breakfast before the last leg of the journey. Experience challenging climbs and exhilarating descents, feeling accomplished as you return to Kouga Wildernis. Enjoy a final meal and relax, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.

Exploring the Heart of Langkloof
After a night under the stars, day two takes you deeper into Langkloof. Cycle through ancient forests and along clear streams, enjoying panoramic views and wildlife sightings. End the day at a picturesque campsite, sharing stories around the campfire.
